The Association for Asian Studies (AAS) awards Professor Yukio Lippit the John Whitney Hall Book Prize for Painting of the Realm: The Kano House of Painters in 17th-Century Japan (Seattle: University of Washington Press, 2012)
The awards ceremony will take place at the AAS annual conference in Philadelphia on March 28, 2014.
