Class of 2022 Public Service Recruiting Day [deadline: October 13th]

Class of 2022 Public Service Recruiting Day

Public Service Recruiting Day is a collaboration between the Center for Public Service and Engaged Scholarship, the Harvard Global Health Institute, the Institute of Politics, and the Office of Career Services to create pathways to post-graduate public service opportunities. This year, Public Service Recruiting Day will be held on October 29, 2021.

Through Public Service Recruiting Day, Harvard College seniors will have the opportunity to interview with outstanding public service organizations. Participating organizations will conduct a variety of interview types, ranging from informational interviews about the organization to first round interviews for specific roles. Click the links below to learn more about each organization and to apply!

This program is a bold effort to connect leading public service organizations with students to conduct one-on-one interviews with seniors and speak about post-graduate employment and fellowships. Students may submit applications to multiple organizations and must submit a unique resume and cover letter for each position.

For seniors interested in the public sector, this is an early opportunity to build relationships and identify exciting opportunities with potential employers. If selected to participate, students will need to be available between 10:00am and 4:00pm on October 29th for interviews. Seniors who will graduate in December 2021 are welcome to apply. Space is limited, and applications to participate must be submitted via Crimson Careers by 11:59pm on Wednesday, October 13th.

The Center for Public Service and Engaged Scholarship is hosting a Public Service Recruiting Day Advising Session on Tuesday, October 12th at 8pm via zoom, where students can learn more about the event and ask questions. Students can RSVP for the advising session here.

Pro-tip: if an organization hasn't listed a specific position/fellowship in their profile, focus your resume and cover letter on how your experiences and interests are a good fit for the organization’s mission.
