 Dr. Huizhong Bin is an associate professor at the Department of Architecture in the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, Shanghai University. She is an accomplished scholar of art and architectural history. Her expertise includes traditional timber-frame construction techniques, the building practices of master carpenters, regional culture and architectural history in China, regeneration and protection of architectural heritage. She has published five academic monographs and co-authored works, as well as more than forty academic papers.
