Etching, engraving, aquatint, and drypoint are among the types of prints on view in the galleries, but what do these terms mean? Take a closer look at intaglio prints by artists old and new, and explore how the various techniques and processes result in prints with a distinct look and feel. Among the featured objects is Rembrandt’s [*The Raising of Lazarus*](https://collections.mfa.org/objects/241116) (1642), along with the copper plate used to create it.
