 On the occasion of Yve-Alain Bois' retirement from the Institute of Advanced Study at Princeton, as well as the release of his new volume of collected essays, An Oblique Autobiography (no place press), this afternoon features five of his former PhD students reflecting on his indelible contribution to the history of art and art criticism.

 With presentations by:

- James Meyer, Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, National Gallery of Art, Washington D.C.
- Maria Gough, Joseph Pulitzer, Jr. Professor of Modern Art, Department of the History of Art and Architecture, Harvard University
- David Joselit, Arthur Kingsley Porter Professor and Chair, Department of Art, Film, and Visual Studies, Harvard University
- Christine Mehring, Mary L. Block Professor of Art History and the College, University of Chicago
- Michelle Kuo, Marlene Hess Curator of Painting and Sculpture, Museum of Modern Art, New York
- A group conversation with Bois and the speakers will follow. Moderated by Pamela M. Lee.
