The IESHR and the Centre for Advanced Study in History are pleased to organise a workshop that will feature three scholars whose work has been significant in developing different aspects of this subject. Professors Kafadar, Necipoğlu and Subrahmanyam will give brief presentations on the subject of ‘Early Modern Islamic Empires’ before more wide ranging discussions amongst themselves and the audience.

There will be an opportunity to mingle with the speakers over tea and refreshments at 5:00 pm.
