Joseph Leo Koerner is Thomas Professor of History of Art and Architecture at Harvard University. A scholar of Northern Renaissance and 19th- and 20th-century art, he is a recipient of the Andrew W. Mellon Distinguished Achievement Award. He wrote and presented the series Northern Renaissance and the documentary Vienna: City of Dreams for the BBC.
