 **The *Longue Durée* of Arabic Literature,** a conference in celebration of William E. Granara

 This conference will bring together those who have worked with Professor Granara on Arabic literature to showcase the depth and breadth of their scholarship, which covers the vast terrain of Arabic literature, in all its continuities and disruption, spanning medieval and modern eras.
