Sort    This lecture will present expert knowledge of techniques, technologies and processes involved in the preservation and rehabilitation of historic structures, to protect cultural heritage and allow continued human use.  [Maurizio De Vita](http://www.devitassociati.it/associati.php?id=3&lan=eng) is the founding principal of De Vita &amp; Schultze Architetti in Florence. De Vita specializes in adaptive reuse, architectural restoration and rehabilitation. He was interviewed and is quoted in the book The Architecture of Persistence by Professors Fannon, Laboy and Wiederspahn, and this lecture will build on their lecture to continue the conversation on how architectural practice engages the temporal dimension.
