DESCRIPTION:<p>	I am pleased to announce the opening of two exhibitions I curated that open this week. </p><p>	The first, co-curated with Jessica Martinez Levin, focuses on African ceramics and design and is titled:  <em>Clay—Modeling African Design</em>. This exhibit draws together works from the Peabody and Harvard Art Museums from across the continent (the Nile Valley to South Africa and  from Madagascar to Cote d’Ivoire) from the 2<sup>nd</sup> millennium BCE to the current era. The exhibition runs from November 17, 2018 to November 14, 2021 in the Harvard University Art Museums.
