DESCRIPTION:<p>	With the generous support of the Department, of History of Art &amp; Architecture, the graduate student lecture series committee is excited to announce that on <strong>December 9 at 6:00 p.m. in the Lower Lecture Hall, 485 Broadway</strong>, Professor Nicola Suthor will present her newest project, 'Macchia as Memory Function: Thought Processes in Renaissance Sketches.'</p><p>	<span><span>This is the first event in this year's <em>New Directions in Art History: Lectures in the Department of the History of Art and Architecture. </em>The purpose of this lecture series is to bring important new scholarship to the attention of the HAA community and give graduate students a chance to engage with innovative scholars in formal and informal conversations on campus.</span></span></p><p>	We are also hosting a small dinner after the lecture for students who are interested in speaking with Professor Suthor.
