DESCRIPTION:<p>	<em>Artist Housing</em> grew out of the realization that my personal experiences at any time were literally rooted in my <em>housing</em> of the moment… whether that <em>housing</em> was physical, spiritual, artistic, political. </p><p>	Over the years as a visiting artist at universities and forums, I was struck by how many times I was queried about my early experiences as a Black creative artist. Since I’d kept loose journals for years, I decide to share aloud my theater/activist stories, which ranged from the 60s civil rights movement, the Vietnam war, counterculture NYC and being Black in early 70s France, up to and including my acting-directing-writing career today. – <em>Seret Scott</em></p><p>	<a data-url="https://harvardfilmarchive.org/calendar/artist-housing-talk-with-seret-scott-2023-02" href="https://harvardfilmarchive.org/calendar/artist-housing-talk-with-seret-scott-2023-02" title="">Click here for more information.</a></p>
