DESCRIPTION:<p>	A one-on-one conversation between Professor of Architecture <strong>Carlos Jiménez NA</strong>, principal of Carlos Jiménez Studio, and <strong>Patricio Del Real, PhD</strong>, Associate Professor of History of Art and Architecture, Harvard University. The evening will feature an overview of Jiménez’s 40-year practice and a focus on his project for Won Buddhism of Houston (2015-2021), which is on view in Sites of Impermanence. Jiménez understands architecture’s value as a life force: generous and sustaining, inspiring and optimistic, ancient and modern, wise and expectant, discreet and intrepid, ephemeral and enduring.
