Winestock will offer an introduction to the exhibition and its historical context, followed by a conversation with the art historian Mary Schneider Enriquez. This exhibition brings together works by four artists—Maren Hassinger, Howardena Pindell, Liliana Porter, and Mildred Thompson—who developed innovative abstract languages and vocabularies in the 1960s and 1970s.
