Deputy Director, Han-art Institute, Peking University
LIU Guan is the deputy director of Han-art Institute in Peking University (PKU), also an associate professor at Beijing Forestry University (BJFU). He is still a Ph.D. candidate of art history in Peking University, and focusing on the study of stone relief images about architectural subjects around Jiangsu & Shandong & Anhui & Henan (苏鲁豫皖) region in the Eastern Han Dynasty. His recent essays include “A Study of Bent Dou-gong Bracket in East Han Dynasty”, Chinese Han-art Research (2017), “Research about Yu Holes of Architecture in Han Dynasty”, Architectural Journal (2012). At Harvard he is working on the application studies of digital media on relevant stone reliefs and tombs.
