Can I pass? Women of African descent in conversation

In celebration of July 25, International Day of Women of African Descent, the ICA presents a conversation with women from Hispaniola centering on the work of Firelei Báez. How do we heal? How do we uplift? How do we move forward?  

Yvette Modestine, diaspora coordinator for the International Day of Women of African Descent’s founding network, moderates a discussion between Romy St. Hilaire, a Haitian American artist, city planner, and curator, and Anne Thompson, a Dominican artist and Boston social worker.
