HAA 2025 Senior Thesis Prize Winners
Congratulations to this year’s HAA prize winners (from left to right):
Abramson Prize: Alejandra Riambau, for her senior thesis Tidal Shifts: Water as Metaphor in Cuban Contemporary Art
- The Matthew Abramson '96 Prize is awarded by faculty vote to the one student of this department whose thesis has been determined as "Best Senior Thesis."
Ackerman Prize: Hanna Carney, for her senior thesis Particular and Universal: The Prospekt Kosmonavtov Metro Station in Tashkent.
- The James Sloss Ackerman Senior Thesis Prize in Architecture is awarded, by faculty vote, to a senior thesis of the highest merit on a topic in the history, theory, and/or design of architecture.
Fairman Prize: Bristol Fales-Hill, for her senior thesis Children in Focus: Gordon Parks and the Politics of Black Childhood in American Photography.
- The Claire Fairman Prize is awarded to that thesis which is found, by faculty vote, to be most worthy, and of a topic focusing on modern art.
