Jack Alessio Pretto, HAA Class of ’14, spent six years at Calvin Klein, first working on their built environments, and then as an art director. Before leaving, he art-directed the Calvin Klein Global Pride 2021 campaign where he had the privilege of working with photographers including Collier Schorr and Ryan McGinley.

This past summer, he started a new journey with the New York based womenswear company, Khaite, as their Senior Manager of Brand Marketing and Environments. “In the latter part of my role, environments, I design and develop all things in the built environment - shop in shops, pop ups, events, runway, showroom, and windows. This past fall, I rolled out the global launch of the brand's first store experience in partnership with the Swedish architecture firm Hallerod. Seven stores executed this concept including Bergdorf Goodman, Printemps, Harrods and Le Bon Marche.

“Equally, I function as an art director where I dictate the look, feel, tone and mood of our editorial shoots. I work with stylists, photographers, set designers, models and production teams to create impactful imagery that brings the inspiration of the collections to life through capturing our key investments or special capsules. Beyond our own social, web and print platforms, these assets are utilized by our wholesale partners including Net-a-porter, MatchesFashion, Saks, and Nordstrom among others. “
