Michelle Young

Michelle Young, History of Art and Architecture '04, founded the architecture and urbanism website Untapped New York in 2009 which has grown into an online magazine and experience company dedicated to New York City's secrets and hidden gems. She is an Adjunct Professor of Architecture at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation and regularly appears in documentaries including the recent Smithsonian Channel series Secret Cities, and previously in Netflix’s Stay Here and PBS’ 10 That Changed America. She will also appear in an upcoming series with The History Channel. She is the author of Secret Brooklyn: An Unusual Guide, New York: Hidden Bars & Restaurants, and Broadway.
