Paige Newell, HAA Class of '14

Paige Newell graduated Harvard College in 2014 where she concentrated in History of Art and Architecture, specifically the Italian Renaissance era. During her time at Harvard she also was a member of the Varsity Women's Swim Team and was a teaching fellow for the Department of Statistics. Paige went on to attend medical school at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia from 2014-2018, and returned to Boston in 2018 after matching into General Surgery Residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital. During residency she spent her two year research fellowship as the Vicky and Joseph Safra Cardiac Surgery Clinical Outcomes Endowed Research Fellow and was selected as Chief Fellow of the Center for Surgery and Public Health. She will graduate general surgery residency in 2025, after which she will start a Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
