Thomas Cummins presented with award

Professor Tom Cummins and Professor Joanne Rappaport (Georgetown University) were presented at the Latin American Studies Association with the Bryce Wood Book Award for the outstanding book in the social sciences and the humanities published in English.  

Their book, Beyond the Lettered City: Indigenous Literacies in the Andes, was acclaimed by Laurence Whitehead of Oxford in the award ceremony.
