Eunchae Lee
Eunchae is a third-year PhD candidate in the History of Art at the University of Edinburgh. Her research examines cross-cultural exchanges between French and Japanese art from the late nineteenth to early twentieth centuries, with a particular focus on Japonisme.
Prior to her PhD, Eunchae completed an MSc in History of Art, Theory and Display at the University of Edinburgh (2022) and a BA in Art History and Criticism at Stony Brook University (2021). She has also worked at several art-related institutions, including Pace Gallery, the Royal Scottish Academy, The Korea Society, and the Paul W. Zuccaire Gallery, in Seoul, Edinburgh, and New York.
