Rachel M Tang
Rachel M. Tang studies the history and theory of socially engaged art, specifically, pedagogical and ecological oriented practices. Her current interests include decolonial/liberation pedagogies, affect, and aesthetic representations of education.
Before coming to Harvard, Rachel received her B.A. in Art History from the University of Southern California. She has held positions in arts administration, museums, and institutions of education, including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. She is also a poet and has two poems forthcoming in Inverted Syntax (Summer 2021)
