Victoria is interested in early nineteenth-century depictions of Brazil. She graduated from UCLA with a BA in Art History, and obtained her MA degree from Columbia University. Her thesis addressed the convergence of picturesque aesthetic with depictions of enslaved labor in colonial Brazilian landscapes.
