HUAJ Call for Submissions - Spring 2025 print issue

Submissions are now open for the spring 2025 issue of the Harvard Undergraduate Art Journal! Submit your art or writing by March 28th at midnight. See below or visit our website or Instagram @harvardartjournal for submission details:

Essays: Undergraduate essays eligible for submission are previously unpublished English-language essays in art history of 1,500 - 4,000 words in length. All submissions should be formatted in Chicago style with a maximum of 5 .jpeg images per essay. All essays should be submitted in .docx format.

Artwork: All photographable mediums of creative work will be considered for publication (painting, photography, digital art, drawing, sculpture, etc.). Please submit a photograph of your submission as a high-resolution .jpeg image with the title of the work as the file name, along with an artist statement/description of the work of no more than 300 words in length. All written components should be in .docx format.

Please send all submissions (or questions) via email to harvardcollegeartjournal@gmail.com by midnight on Friday, March 28th. Should your submission be accepted, our editors will be in touch with feedback and revision suggestions prior to publication. Our previous issue can be accessed on our website.
