Danielle Parga graduated from HAA in 2012, and currently works in the Hong Kong office of Art Basel as a Gallery and Project Manager.
Her job entails working with the Selection Committee and galleries on their booth presentations at Art Basel Hong Kong. “I came to HK to get my MBA at HKUST (Hong Kong University of Science and Technology), and started as an intern at Art Basel during my studies. It's been wildly interesting - we put on two fairs during the pandemic, and have another coming in May 2022. I mostly enjoy reading the gallery applications, to see what exciting art galleries wish to exhibit at our fair. Once selected, I work with galleries to realize these presentations. A lot of my job means I have to go out and see art, a total dream from my HAA days.”
