Tracy Stuber is the Digital Humanities postdoctoral fellow for the NEH-funded Mapping Color in History project at Harvard University. Previously, she was Research Specialist for the Digital Art History department at the Getty Research Institute, where she focused on the use of emerging technologies such as computer vision and machine learning to discover new research possibilities within photographic archives. Her current work addresses the institutionalization of photographic history in US-American arts institutions in the 1970s. She is also inaugural co-editor of “Digital Dialogues,” a forum for digital projects and issues in Panorama, Journal of the Association of Historians of American Art.
 
Stuber received her PhD in Visual and Cultural Studies from the University of Rochester, where she held an Andrew W. Mellon predoctoral fellowship in Digital Humanities. Her research and digital scholarship has also been supported by the Kress Foundation and Humanities New York.
